Terms & Conditions
Below are the terms and conditions that relate to your event booked through Day Events.
• Bookings are initially made on a provisional basis. This booking will be held for one month, or until another request is made for the particular date, at which point we will contact you regarding your decision.
• To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total value of your party booking is payable, together with signed Terms & Conditions and completed Booking Form.
• Payment is required 30 days prior to the date of your celebration for all services requested. An invoice for the remaining balance of your account for any incidentals that may occur, will be issued the day after your celebration. This is due upon receipt by BACS.

• Bookings will be subject to travel costs, Low Emission and Congestion Charges if applicable.
• A site survey will be conducted to discuss specific equipment requirements for your celebration. Any equipment hired will be payable direct to the hire company by you, the party organiser.
• Any services organised by Day Events for you, the client, such as DJ, toilets, musicians is payable direct to the company / individual according to their credit terms.
• The number of staff required to cater appropriately for your event will be discussed with you. This will then be charged to your bill in addition to any food costs.
• As the party organiser, it is your responsibility to declare any guests food allergies or intolerances so that they can be catered for appropriately.
• If there are any lakes, ponds or water features of any kind at the event venue it is the responsibility of the venue owner to ensure that there are appropriate safety measures, life saving equipment and signage displayed. Day Events and its employees accept no responsibility for the supervision and safety of guests in and around any such water feature.
• It is the responsibility of the host and their guests to ensure that any children attending the event are supervised appropriately at all times. Day Events and its employees accept no responsibility for the supervision and safety of any children that are left unsupervised by their parents or guardians.
• Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event. This number, or the number attending (whichever is greater) will be charged for.
• All information & prices quoted are correct at the time of printing and may be subject to change or increase.
• As the party organisers you will be responsible for any damage or loss to any equipment belonging to Day Events or hired by Day Events for your event / celebration and we reserve the right to charge you, as the party organisers for any such damage, loss or removal of items. A percentage of the deposit to cover repair / replacement will be retained.
• VAT at the current rate is included in all the prices.
• In the unfortunate event of cancellation of your booking, we reserve the right to levy a cancellation charge as set out below.
More than 12 weeks from the scheduled date – Forfeiture of deposit
Between 6 and 12 weeks – 50% of total estimated spend
Between 4 and 6 weeks – 75% of total estimated spend
Less than 4 weeks – 100% of total estimated spend
